FOSSIL Damencharmcollier Edelstahl 45 cm inkl. 5 cm Verlängerung JF82843040

FOSSIL Damencharmcollier Edelstahl 45 cm inkl.

Versand ! Nur zu empfehlen – gerne wieder Fossil: JF82843 Band aus schwarzem Leder, Enden gefasst in polierter Edelstahlfassung, angeknoteter Edelstahlring, ideal für Charms-Anhänger, Durchmesser ca. 12,5 mm, Länge: 40 cm plus 5 cm Verlängerung, Karabiner-Verschluss, sicher und bequem zu bedienen, in Fossil-Geschenkbox FOSSIL Damencharmcollier Edelstahl 45 cm inkl. 5 cm Verlängerung JF82843040

Other Usages For Memory Cards

Archivado en: Psion — microenglish @ 7:59

We know that mobile phones and cameras take the bulk of memory card uses, but are there any more uses? Development of devices have come along way in the last decade more devices, smaller, so how many more products are using memory cards? The list below will give an idea of the different devices using cards.

PHOTO FRAMES

Photo frames are very popular and come in different sizes, and they look the part as well. Most cards will work with a photo frame. Take some pictures then put the memory card into the picture frame slot for that card and watch a slideshow before down loading to a computer.

MOBILE GPS DEVICE

GPS come with a pre loaded map of a certain area, more maps can be added but usually there is a fee. Data can be saved on to your selected card then slotted into the GPS. Most of the GPSs will allow pictures and music to be played through your GPS from your selected card.

MOBILE PHONES

Not much needs to be said, most mobiles take memory for storing pictures music. Many different types of cards are in today’s market for the mobile phone.

CAMERAS

As with mobile phones most if not all of today’s cameras take a card for storing media, whether it be photos or video.

PRINTERS

Putting a memory card direct to a printer is now common amongst the major printer manufactures. Meaning you can check and print your pictures without downloading to a computer.

DIRECT TO A COMPUTER

Cards can be used directly with a computer or laptop using a card reader that connects via an USB port.

FLASH BASED PLAYERS

One of the major reasons these players took off is because of the size of the storage media by having a 64GB card capability. How many music tracks would that hold, in the region of 6000.

CAMCORDERS

Memory cards are the main media storage of a camcorder. Camcorders take video and still pictures and a good device will need a good card to be able to capture those memories

VIDEO CONSOLES

Now used in many of the video consoles like NINTENDO DS, PLAYSTATION, WII

LAPTOPS/COMPUTERS

Manufactures have been incorporating card readers directly into their systems so its just a case of slipping the card into the reader port. Meaning you don’t have to download from the camera, its disadvantage you are handling the memory card.

PDA SYSTEMS

PSION series 5 and their 5MX takes a compact flash for their memory storage.Compact flash cards come in capacity of up to128 GByte/s. Palm pilot 1000 and 5000 use memory cards.

TELEVISIONS

Yes even now television have card slots. Play your photos, listen to music. Not much more a television can do, they have CD players, freeview TV, memory card slots, surround sound, the question is what else be we see included within televisions in the further.

DVD RECORDERS

Quite a few of the DVD recorder manufactures have now includes card slots.

Seeing the list there are many different devices that are currently using memory cards. Many devices will in time drop the memory card for internal hard drives but that is a future development, until then the memory card will still be used as major media storage device.

Art Deco Makes a Comeback in Architectural Doors

Archivado en: Door — Etiquetas: — microenglish @ 12:22

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Doors are becoming less of an afterthought in modern home design and more of a focal point. In fact, many homeowners today are choosing custom-designed architectural doors for their home’s exterior. Sometimes an entire home design is planned around a customized architectural door. Doors are being recognized as an important part of the aesthetic value of a home’s exterior. An artistically-designed and professionally-built exterior door can raise the value of a home while providing enormous curb-appeal.

One of the fastest-growing trends in architectural doors today is the art deco door. The art deco style of design first emerged in the early 1900’s. It was an international design phenomenon in the 1920’s and 1930’s. It was during this period of time that a number of famous landmark buildings were erected, the design of which has become a part of pop culture and history. Though many people can’t put a name to the style, they will instantly recognize buildings created during the art deco trend. One such example is the distinctive spire of New York City’s Chrysler building, built in the mid 1920’s. Other renowned examples include New York’s Empire State Building and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Like most trends, art deco faded from construction history for a time in favor of more modern, streamlined designs. But also like many trends, art deco has re-emerged throughout the last century in various manners. Today, this includes architectural doors.

Art deco designs are based on mathematical, geometric shapes. Chevrons, sweeping curves, sunburst motifs and multi-tiered steps are characteristic of art deco.   The Chrysler Building is a prime example of a curve and sunburst theme with steps that become smaller until they reach the spire at the top.

Architectural doors take the best of these geometrical designs and add modern twists, like sharp, uneven lines, mirrors and contemporary colors. The result is a door that is truly a work of art. These works of art become the focal point for the design of the new home. They often inspire other elements of the home, like windows, exterior colors, and even the shape of the roof. Like someone who purchases a loved work of art and then paints and designs the room it hangs in to match it, homeowners and builders start with a custom-designed architectural door and then look to it for inspiration for the entire exterior.

Art deco architectural doors can be designed to fit any type of home. They can be standard size, or can be crafted to fit unorthodox door frames for truly individualistic style. They don’t sacrifice functionality either. They can be built to accommodate high-security features, and can even be built to mask multiple locks and other security mechanisms. This results in an architectural door whose artistic quality hasn’t been sacrificed for the sake of fortitude.

The Power of Paper

Archivado en: Psion — microenglish @ 13:39

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Over the years, I have tried about everything available for planning, goal-setting, and project management. In my earlier years, I tended to be a gadget freak. I used PDAs, which predated the PalmPilot. I have used the Psion 3a, the Casio, various versions of the PalmPilot, various versions of the PocketPC, smartphones and enough software for my personal computers that I could have run NASA. I have settled in on Outlook, PlanPlus for Outlook by Franklin-Covey, MindManager Pro by MindJet and Microsoft Project for my basic recording (once it is developed) and keeping up to date with plans and projects. Now don’t run out and purchase all of these because you may be surprised to find that I use an extremely low tech method of brainstorming and planning: pen and paper! With more years experience than I care to count, I have found pen and paper to be the most powerful medium ever developed.

In Habakkuk, we find God telling the prophet to write down his visions:

KJV Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Although this is used in the context of sharing a vision from God to others, there is a principle here. When we write something down and make it plain to understand, there is an anointing for those that read it to accomplish it.

In the Success Mastery Academy taught by Brian Tracy, he shared powerful information in this area with the attendees (which included many executives from Fortune 500 companies). I am going to share a summary of what he presented. (To be able to get an exact quote, I would have to listen to all twelve hours of the seminar again.) Here is my summary:

In having these men and women prepare their goals for the next year, he had them brainstorm on paper. He shared that there is a “hand to brain connection” discovered by success psychology experts that they cannot yet explain. By writing down the goals, an individual increases his chances of completing them by about 300%. To illustrate this, some in attendance made their lists, only to tuck them away in the folios they use for such conferences, and never looked at them again until the following year. To the surprise of many, when they pulled the paperwork out the next year, they had completed over 70% of the goals that they had written down!

Now imagine what would have happened if they had looked at them each week or rewrote them and expanded them each week. The power of paper is amazing. How many powerful business plans started on the back of a napkin written down during dinner at a neighborhood restaurant? How many world-changing ideas were quickly jotted down on paper when the Holy Spirit first breathed it into the heart of someone!

I personally have found that technology can be a hindrance to establishing goals, brainstorming, and jotting down inspiration or the initial phases of project planning. Paper and pen provide a permanent record of not only the ideas, but the process. It is readily available. You never have to wait for it to boot up. You never will have a pen or paper hang up on you (i.e. the MS blue screen of death). You just grab, write, scribble, draw, sketch and develop!

Here are some tips to keep you moving forward:

Always keep something with you to write with. I keep a notepad in my briefcase and on my desks at the office and home at all times. I also carry 3 x 5 cards in my pocket to jot down ideas, tasks, etc. This is paramount to you moving forward in life and ministry. You have no clue how many sermon ideas, inspirational truths and powerful teachings I have lost over the years because I did not write them down the moment they came to me. When the Holy Spirit breathes something into your spirit, there is an anointing for understanding and accomplishment in it. When you write it down, the anointing will stay with what you have written!

Once you write it down and hash it out on paper, you then can move it to some electronic format. This is really helpful if you are like me; when I write in English, everyone thinks it is in some ancient biblical language. So typing everything out is important for not only yourself, but others as well. Remember to create a file system and ALWAYS keep those papers of hand written inspiration. The anointing to understand and accomplish will always be there for you to refresh yourself when you need it.

It’s time to pick up your pen – inspiration is about to be loosed in your life!

Fabric For Quilt Squares

Archivado en: Charms — Etiquetas:, — microenglish @ 11:03

Image : http://www.flickr.com

If you love to quilt then you are probably always on the lookout for quilt squares. Luckily, quilt squares can literally be found anywhere. In fact, some people will use old clothing or blankets to create new “vintage” quilts or memory quilts. For example, you could make a quilt for your newborn grandchild using pieces of your own child’s favorite clothes or blankets. Some people have found using pieces of stuffed animals quite useful, too, as well as a way to add texture to the quilt.

Should you want to create a brand new quilt with no old pieces then there is no reason to be discouraged. There are plenty of fabric stores you can visit to browse their fabric selections. Once you find various fabrics you like all you have to do is buy the fabric and cut them into squares. Many stores also sell pre-cut fabric squares in various fabric selections. This is excellent for those who are short on time or who like to take the easy way out!

If you are shopping for quilt squares that are already cut then they come in something called a charm pack. This is a pack of fabric squares and they are all complementary. You buy a charm pack and have enough squares to create an entire quilt. Usually, they are related by theme or color, but they always have something that bring them together.

You can find all kinds of quilts like those with fabrics for the holidays, cartoons, flowers, matching colors, and the like. If you can’t find charm packs that you like in your local fabric store you should consider shopping online. You will have a much wider selection and a better chance of finding the perfect charm pack. Of course, you can always create your own charm pack if you can’t find exactly what you are looking for.

Remember, too, that the charm packs are only the quilting squares. You will need to buy other fabric to complete the quilt and this allows you to get as creative as you want. Five people could make quilts from the same charm pack and end up with five very unique and distinct quilts.

These are just a few tips to help you find the right quilt squares for your next and subsequent quilts. Be creative, have fun, and enjoy making quilts. It is a dying art form that should be kept alive! Keep quilting!
